The first annual Live FIT 5K Run/Walk gathered 150 runners and walkers, in support of PMA FIT's mission to attract, develop and retain talent for the fresh produce industry.Read more >

PMA FIT 5th Annual Golf Tournament

Golfers raised more than $36,000 to support FIT's work to attract, develop, and retain produce industry talent. The first-place foursome was led by Santa Sweets' Micheal Lacey, and included L&M Companies' Juan Torres and Peter Kimcczak, and Top Soil USA's Ernie Baltierra. Teaching professional Dean Reinmuth gave on-green golf instruction. Read more >

Nucci Scholarship for Culinary Innovation

The scholarship, which posthumously honors industry leader Joe Nucci and his significant contributions to the produce and foodservice industries, affords 10 culinary students and four faculty members the opportunity to attend PMA’s Foodservice Conference & Exposition. Students receive one-on-one mentoring with leaders from our industry, customized education including an industry overview and tours, and the chance to be sous chefs for the celebrities in the live Celebrity Chef Demonstration. Fresh Perspective: Women’s Networking Event

Attendees of the second annual Fresh Perspective at Foodservice donated more than 945 pairs of shoes to Soles4Souls, a charity that distributes shoes free of charge to people in need all over the world. The industry's best and brightest mingled at the Monterey Maritime and History Museum.
